Healthy Ladoo

Ladoo and Healthy?

Yes it is !

With ingredients like jaggery, soya flour and very little portion of ghee we can prepare

healthy and yummy ladoo.

Ingredients:

  • 200 gm. wheat flour
  • 50 gm. soya flour
  • 100 gm jaggery
  • 25 gm ghee
  • 250 litre warm milk
  • 3 teaspon poppy seed.
  •  1 table spoon pieces of dryfruits.
  •  1 teaspoon cardamom powder.

Method:

Mix wheat flour and soya flour. Heat half portion of ghee and mix it with flour

properly.With warm milk form stiff but pilable  dough, knead it properly. Make

five thick ball from dough and roll out thick chapaties from it.Cook chapati on medium

heat until light golden brown sport firm. After ten minutes make small pieces of

chapaties and grind it.Heat remaining ghee in a pan and add pieces of dryfruits.

After two minutes add cardamom powder and jaggery. Stir it  till the jaggery

melt .Turn off the heat. Add grinded chapaties and make eleven equal size of ball

(ladoos) from it. Rub it in poppy seeds. Delicious ladoo is ready to it.

Corn Paneer Palakwala

Corn Paneer Palakwala

Ingredients:

* 2 cup boiled palak paste

* 1 medium size onion paste

* 2 medium size tomato paste

* 1 cup boiled American corns

* 100 gm fried paneer cubes

* 1 tbsp butter

* 2 tsp red chilly powder

* 1 tsp ginger garlic paste

* 1 tsp grated cheese

* salt

Method:

*Heat 1 tbsp butter in a pan.

* Add onion paste, cook 3 minutes.

* Add ginger garlic and tomato paste, cook  3 minutes.

* Add palak (spinach) paste, cook  2 minutes.

* Add boiled corns and paneer.

* Add salt .

* Remove from heat and garnish with grated cheese.

* Serve it hot with roti or paratha.

Onion Garlic Chatni

                              Onion Garlic Chatni

 This chatni is very popular in small villages. It is perfect match with special Indian dish

Bhakri and Thepala. It is very  easy to prepare. It can be store for a week without cold

preservation.

Ingredients:

* 3 Medium size onion.

* 1 Tablespoon garlic paste.

* 3 Teaspoon red chilly powder.

* 1 Teaspoon jeera powder.

* 3 Teaspoon oil.

* 1 Tablespoon water.

* salt.

Method:

* Chop the onions in tiny square pieces.

* Heat the oil in a kadai.

* Add chopped onion.

* After 5 minutes add garlic paste &  red chilly pwder.

* After 2 minuts add jeera powder and salt.

*  Add water and heat the chatni for 2 minutes.

Your Chatni is ready to it.

Sabudana (sogo) vada

Sabudana Vada

* 250gm. Boiled and smashed potatoes.
* 100gm. Small size sabudana
* 50gm. Roasted ground nuts.
* 1 Tablespoon oil.
* 1 Teaspoon lemon juice.
* 1/2 Teaspoon sugar.
* 1 Tablespoon ginger-chilly paste.
* Tablespoon finely chopped coriander leaves.
* 1 Teaspoon garam masala.
* 1 Teaspoon salt.

Method:

* Soak sabudana for two hours and keep it aside.
* Mix smashed potatoes, ginger-chilly paste,chopped coriander leaves, lemon juice, salt, garam masalaand sugar.
* Add small pieces of roasted ground nuts and mix it.
* Make 10 equal size circle and press it.
* Rub them properly in the soaked sabudana.
* Put them in Tandoor and spread oil.
* After 12 minutes delicious sabudanavada is ready to eat.
* Serve them hot with Tomato ketch up.

Khsboodar Vegetable Dishes

Try this totaly different vegetable dish.

Sprouted Methidane ki bahar

Ingredients:

* 25gm. sprouted methidana(dry methi-sprouted)

* 2 spring onion chopped with leaves

* 1 small tomato chopped

* 3 papad cut into 2″ square pieces

* 1 small capsicum chopped

* 1 teaspoon chopped coriander leaves

* 2 teaspoon cooking oil

* 2 teaspoon red chilly powder

* 1 teaspoon coriander powder

* 1/4 teaspoon turmeric & amchur powder

* 1 teaspoon jaggery

* salt

* 25ml water

method:

* Add oil in the kadai and heat it.

* Add chopped spring onion & capsicum.

* After 2 minutes add chopped tomato, mix it well.

* Add sprouted metidana.

* Now add red chilly, coriander and amchur powder.

* After 2 minute add water & mix it well.

* Now add pieces of papad and jaggery.

* Cover the kadai and cook it for 3 minutes.

* Decorate with chopped coriander leaves.

* Serve it hot with Roti.

ingredients:

500gm Boiled potatoes
100gm Boiled green peas
100gm Finely chopped capsicum
3 Finely chopped onion
2 Teaspoon finely chopped coriander leaves.
2 Teaspoon garlic paste
1 Teaspoon amchur powder
10 Whole kashmiri chillies
5 Tomatoes ginded
2 Teaspoon pavbhaji masala
1 Tablespoon butter.
1 Teaspoon salt
6 Buns.

METHOD:

Crush the potatoes.
Boil kashmiri chillies for 10 minutes.
Allow it to cool down and grind it with little water.
Put 1 table spoon butter in a kadai.
After butter melt add chopped onion.
After 5 minutes add chopped capsicum
After 2 minutes add coriander leaves & grinded tomatoes.
After 5 minutes add garlic paste & grinded kashmiri chillies.
After 5 minutes add crushed potatoes & boiled green peas.
Add little water & mix it well.
Add amchur powder,salt & pavbhaji masala.
Boil it for 10 minutes.
Bake buns with butter.

Your delicious pavbhaji is ready to it.
Serve it hot with chopped onion, butter and papad.

*250gm.Moong dal (yellow dal)
*2 Medium size finely chopped onion.
*2 Medium size finely chopped tomato.
*1 medium size finely chopped capsicum.
*1 Table spoon ghee.
*1 Teaspoon garlic paste.
*2 Teaspoon green chhilly & ginger’s paste.
*1/2 Teaspoon tumeric powder.
* Salt to taste.
*A few springs of coriander leaves.

METHOD:

* Wash moong dal throughly.
* Boil water in a pot.
* Add moong dal.
* Cooked it for 7 minutes.
* Heat 1 table spoon ghee in a kadai.
* Add chopped onion & garlic paste.
* After 2 minutes add chopped capsicum.
* After 5 minutes add chpped tomatoes.
* Add boiled moong dal.
* Add ginger chilly paste.
* Add turmeric powder & salt to taste.
* Decorate it with finely chopped coriander leaves.
